New Orleans The Next Las Vegas

I never thought in my lifetime that they would actually let anyone down south have a casino that wasn't sitting on water. New Orleans is going to try to use their disaster to change the laws so that they can open a gaming room in a 500 room hotel. What kind of message is that sending? If they change the law it's going to be because the people are changing and being more accepting of things that for years were taboo. Does this means that the things that we oppose so hard now are eventually going to become accepted. I can't believe they are going to use people's sympathy to get this changed, but that's exactly what they're going to do. They can't make payroll. How dare anybody say give it up and go live somewhere else. Their whole economy is based on the income from partying and gambling and drugs. Why do you think so many people didn't want to leave? They'll say what's the difference being on land or over water. I wonder what kind of attention the Mayor gets. Being in his position in the City, he doesn't seem to me to be the kind that has a quiet life at home. He probably needs, AA, Gamblers Anonoymous and some drugs.
