At night I used to come to you,
In prayer down on my knees.
I'd thank you for mom and dad,
and all the family.
Now I have only grown to be,
a child in your eyes,
rarely taking time to thank you for
the changes in my life.
The rain falling down upon the roof,
gives to me the living proof that He reigns.
He still reigns.
May the rocks lift their voices up to sing,
if we can't let His praises ring that He reigns.
He still reigns.
In prayer down on my knees.
I'd thank you for mom and dad,
and all the family.
Now I have only grown to be,
a child in your eyes,
rarely taking time to thank you for
the changes in my life.
The rain falling down upon the roof,
gives to me the living proof that He reigns.
He still reigns.
May the rocks lift their voices up to sing,
if we can't let His praises ring that He reigns.
He still reigns.
