At night I use to come to You
in prayer down on my knees.
I'd thank You for Mom and Dad
and all the family.
Now I have only grown to be
a child in Your eyes,
rarely taking time to thank You for
the changes in my life.

So Thank You Lord,
for the gifts in my life.
Thank You Lord,
for standing by my side.
Thank You Lord,
You've been so good to me.
Thank You Lord,
for setting me free.

Now time has only changed my age
it hasn't changed my heart.
My love for You is still the same
and Your's will never part.
Looking at my life today
I hope that You still see,
the child that I use to be
in the child I am today.
